Client Feedback & Approval Flow

Streamline your workflow by requesting formal approval from clients on tasks and file uploads.

New Feature: This approval flow is tracked via Activity Logs and does not interfere with your custom commission status.

How It Works

The Approval Flow allows you to mark specific items for review. Clients get a notification and can either "Approve" (with an optional comment) or "Request Changes" (with required feedback).

Initiating a Request

1. Creating/Completing Tasks

When you mark a task as completed in your task list, you will see a checkbox labeled "Request Client Feedback/Approval". Checking this triggers the approval flow for that specific task.

2. Uploading Files

When uploading files in the Project Files section, a new confirmation modal appears. You can add a summary note and check "Request Client Feedback/Approval" to notify the client that these specific files need review.

Client Experience

When you request approval, clients will see a prominent "Action Required" banner at the top of their Commission Status page.

  • Approve: Marks the item as approved.
  • Request Changes: Prompts the client to enter feedback describing what needs to be fixed.
Tip: Use the activity log to track the history of approvals and change requests over time.
